Skate jewelry without the logo.
The skateboard silhouette is reduced to line, proportion and movement. The reference remains recognisable, but the result is considered jewelry rather than oversized merchandise.

Barcelona at street level
A city can be read through edges and movement.
Skate culture notices structures that ordinary movement ignores. A curb, bench or open square becomes a line. Jewelry works through the same reduction: a larger environment becomes silhouette, weight and detail.

The skate edit
Three pieces, three levels of movement.
The collection is intentionally compact. Instead of repeating the same product in a generic grid, the necklace is given more visual weight and the two earring designs are compared beside it.
Silhouette
The board is recognisable without relying on a printed logo.
Scale
The reference is reduced until it sits naturally on the body.
Movement
Articulated earrings make motion part of the design.
Finish
Material and edge treatment transform an object into jewelry.
From the Journal
Three readings of Barcelona.
Street culture, pavement design and modernist architecture show how very different parts of the city can become wearable form.
Designed as jewelry
Recognisable, but not oversized.
Scale, softened edges and balance determine whether the skateboard becomes comfortable jewelry.
